Hiya,
He is gelded and is currently standing at about 15hh. I expect him to make arround the 16hh/16.2hh mark.
Solly is extremely athletic and would excel at ridden and driven (there is the British Heavy Horse Driving Trials Association) pursuits.
He's a lovely chap, very even tempered (although does have the occasional 'terrible three' moments (but what youngster hasn't!) and is good for the farrier (and I can say that hand on heart as it's me who trims him!). He's good with the Vet too.

Thank you tara, we are very interested in taking him for carriage driving. Do you have any ideas on cost of transporting to mainland UK please? (sorry I know I should ask for some quotes, but hoped you might have a rough idea) Thank you very much. he is a real beauty ;D

I think it depends on where you are in the UK.
We only have one transporter that travels from Jersey to the UK - his name is Dave Moyse and I will get hold of his telephone number and let you know today.
He is a really smashing youngster, but he would be wasted with me as I don't want to drive anything more than 50 inches tall!
ETA: Dave's number is 07797 852 632

Well.... had an Animal Communicator to speak with Spoony yesterday and she told me that Solly was ready to move onto his new home and he was going to be working with a man.
Your hubby perhaps???

I would love to think so Tara. Solly fits the bill completely, and he really does need another horse, but I just can't get him to be serious. He is starting to overdo it with his cob, as he is getting on. He agrees completely that he needs a new horse to bring on NOW, he agrees that Solly seems the ideal horse. I just hope he (or rather 'we') do not live to regret his inactivity.

I've been holding off advertising him on other websites as I would really like him to come to you, but I can't hold on much longer.... I've PM'd you.

And I still haven't got around to advertising him on Horsequest... This is going to be fate donkeymad!! I also have a two wheel exercise cart and a set of original Tedman harness (not this plastic rubbish stuff you get nowdays) that is is good enough condition that you can show in exercise vehicle classes (which I did with Podge) that will fit Solly when he is fully grown, which is also up for sale for an extra £1,000! Just to say, if you were interested, I will be docking in Portsmouth with my carriage trailer on 7th July and could bring the cart/harness across free of any charge. This is the last time that I could offer this as I have sold my dray trailer and am bringing it across to the UK on that date. DM - have PM'd you.
