Had a lovely day with Murphy at Jumps show today. He did his In-Hand class and his first ever ridden class. He went really really well and we were all really pleased with how he went in his ridden class. Waiting with me before his classes. Don’t know why his eyes are shut in the first one ! In his In-Hand class He went lovely and trotted up fab and won his In-Hand class, Getting his rosette from the Judge Lap off honour in the In-Hand class Then went into the overall In-Hand championship. There was everything from plaited jobs, Arab, show ponies as well as natives, ex-racers and cobs so a real mixed bag. We did not get anything in the championship but it did not do him any harm to do it, its all ring experience ! Then we had some lunch and warmed up for his ridden class and he went into his first ever ridden class. He went so well and we were all delighted and so pleased when he won it ! Putting his rosette on in the ridden class Lap of honour in the Ridden class So they went into the overall ridden championship, but again it was a huge mixed championship and we did not get anything but it was a great experience for him to do a large go round and class like that with lots of other horses including lots of bigger horses than him. Very happy Laura and Murphy after there classes with his rosettes

He is a handsome chap and he knows it. Very well done to all concerned and no doubt his feet and lower legs were sparkling before they encountered that surface.

Well done! He's coming on great isn't he? I can't believe how run down Jumps has got - that surface looks horrendous!
