I have a secret that will get socks even whiter than Tara's method... Only works on non feathered beasts though. Please share info you can't hold out on us ;D

Sorry, didn't mean to keep you in suspense all day- been logging on from my phone and it's a pain to reply!
Normally I wash with fairy liquid followed by a whitening shampoo like Tara (I use a herbal dog one called Plush Puppy Whitening shampoo).
Then I mix up some Coolglass to runny paint consistency and put it on the white bits. Coolglass is greenhouse shading- obviously you want the white one!
Don't bandage over it until it is dry else you get bandage marks. It turns them fluorescent white and it's great for last minute poo stains! Also varnish hooves after you've put it on and it's dried.
