Hi all. It is with great sadness that we are selling our Eriskay mare who is broken to harness. I have been looking to find someone who may help me with her but what with the weather and lack of time, I feel she is not going to achieve her best with us. The Eriskay Pony is a rare breed and is classed as Critical on the Rare Breed Survival Trust with only approx. 300 ponies worldwide. Here's a bit about her. Faygate Mingulay. Dapple grey mare 99% Born 2/6/2001. Sire. Craigellie Somerled, Dam. Callernish Milly. Approx. 13.1hh. Has been professionally broken to drive recently, good with voice commands; stand, walk on and trot on. Needs work with traffic as still green. Only been long reined in harness pulling tyre since back with us as no suitable cart. NO vices or sweet itch. Very friendly mare. Good to catch, load, bath and with the farrier - only trimmed as hard feet. Owned since a 2 year old so all her history known. EPS Passport, Wormed and Vaccinated. Excellent, loving home only please. This photo was taken where she was trained. £1950 ono. We are based in Lincs. Carrie x
