Very sadly, we are having to sell our 6 year old mule. He is a very friendly chap, broken to ride and drive. He has wonderful paces, literally catches himself, and is very keen and willing to learn. He is very light to work, responding to the lightest of aids, but he is green. We are very sad to sell, but we simply do not have the time to use him - he was intended for our business, which is rather busy!! Wormed and trimmed to date, microchipped and passported. Any questions (sorry this is rather brief) please ask. £1500 ono. Photos can be sent by email.

I have a few photos, but they are not very good. Please excuse the set up for driving, it was the first time we tried him, our cob's harness was just too big!! and we just never seem to have had the camera with us since. Two above July 2008 Two below March 2008 He really is a lovely boy and we are very sad to have to sell. Sounds ;usual story' but it is true, we adore him. We are open to sensible offers.

Drat!! Why are good things always tooo far from me!! Always wanted a driving mule - is it true that they are more 'stable' than horses ie. not soo spooky and flighty? You don't travel at all do you?? Lovely looking chappy. Carrie x

They are more like horses than donkeys, so can have the flighty response that donkeys generally don't. We can deliver at cost, but you would need to come see him as I don't really want to sell unseen. (i'm always worried I misdescribe, I usually make them sound worse than they are though, for fear of comeback)

He is divine, what an honest, noble face, What was is that Chaucer said(was it chaucer? I know it was in weird middle olde, English) That a horse should have a good chin like a mule.....or words to that effect. My only question....he's on middle bar, does he need middle bar normally? Oh I am a wee big jealous! he's beautiful.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I would always come to see him first, just deciding whether he is too green for us at this stage and the distance worries me. We are currently working on our mare who has a carriage and harness that would fit your chap so thats not a problem. I'll be in touch. Carrie x

Thanks Carrie
Wally, no he doesn't, OH just used his cobs set-up without adjusting anything much, his cob needs it but certainly not Wingnut. Apart from being green, he really is a wonderful mule.
