Hi, I just found my way here from another forum. At the moment I am a Chariot driver rather than a carriage driver but I hope you don't mind I have a little Shetland, Ozzy, who is embarassingly fat but about to start his New Year exercise programme! I also have an old ride and drive cob, Nelly, a total sweety but sadly about to be retired or worse I fear. Then the leader of the pack is Amber, a mad ginger mare. She is ridden by my fearless and much younger friend! They are all kept in the back garden

Hello and welcome. Everyone has to start somewhere and whilst a lot of us have no wish to drive chariots there are others on the forum that think they are great. You must have a reasonable sized back garden.

Hi and welcome aboard! I don't drive, but I've been asking a thousand and one questions about driving since I've arrived, and everyone's been very friendly and supportive. The chariots look like a lot of fun ;D Do your knees get achey from using it?

You can sit down if your legs hurt but tbh it is a bit like riding, traditional driving or any other new exercise - at first you find muscles hurting that you didn't know existed but then it becomes OK!
