Hi. Thought I'd say hello. I'vedriven on and off for about 20 years. I started driving with a donkey called Eyore, who taught me persistance, and patience! I worked for a well-known HDT carriage driver/dealer, for a short while, as well as "doing time" as groom at a riding livery yard, and more recently, our local hunt yard, and the Midland Side-Saddle Centre. I also have broken ponies in to ride and drive for other people, and myself. I currently have a 14hh Shire X Welsh "C" 8 year old mare, that has been my pleasure to own since she was weaned, and a 10hh 5 year old Standard Shetty, who has been with me since 2.5 years, who believes he is about 16.2hh. Both are ridden regularly, and do a bit of anything and everything. My mare is broken to drive, although I am without wheels for her at the mo, and the Little One is renewing his aquaintance with driven work as we speak. He's a bit of a dude! Looking forward to speaking with you all soon.....

Hi and welcome. Surely the paces are a little too different for tandem driving?

Nah, you've got the ankle biter at the back to bit the bum of the big one in the front to keep the speed up!

Yup. You've got it Wally. And anyway, I can't run fast enough to test out their paces properly lol.... And yes he did nudge her up her bottom a couple of times to tell her to keep going. She's not called Lazy Daisy for nothing you know. Anyway, he was in his favourite place. Gazing at her big beautiful, round gourgeous bum. ;D Have to say they did brill together, considering we were only having a play. They'd never worked in any multiple before, I have never driven multiple before , and I was on my own. Yes, I know, very naughty, slap my hand, and I promise I'll never do it ever again on own (well not 'til next time) They were good though. Stopped and started really obediently, like they had done it for years. Was fun though....
