Good to see some other saddlechariot nuts and really great to have a nice friendly driving site. Simon ps Henry is still having fun. For me, going to the beach and playing with ponies is all in a day's work. It's a tough life, but someone's got to do it.

Yes, he's been doing natural peoplemanship and is pretty happy with the results. He's trained me out of bits, whips, shoes, blinkers and cruppers. I suspect he's got broadband somewhere and is chatting to Blue. Or Blue has found Henry's Facebook page. www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=702204096Simon old photo, still using whips and bits, now we just go faster and both have more fun.

Like the photo, Henry seems to know where he is going. I think you have to join Facebook to see the stuff. I will get Henry to forward the details to Blue. Simon

Hiya Ruth. Just a chance there might be a secondhand one. What size are you thinking. love this shot. Thor is a sweetie but Alison isn't the tallest person I know. But they have fun and that's what driving is about. Thor driven by me. and do you remember your pony with melanoma's and I worked out a solution to the crupper problem, but unfortunately she died, I think of grass sickness, well we had a problem with Molly in this pic, who was absolutely terrifying to drive. Appalling action downhill and on corners, wouldn't stop, clamped her tail over the reins and generally not a good thing to drive. Even Chris Cook thought I was being stupid. So we left her for a year or so and I let my nephew Charlie, holding her in the pic, harness her. He couldn't get the crupper on and said "she's scared of the crupper, why are we using it?" I thought back to your pony and decided to try her without the crupper. And there is my 9 year old, on the saddlechariot behind Molly, the next day. And Molly is just a softy now. Still green, but she has lost all her terrror, all the scrappy action, because she knows there isn't a crupper. Good to hear from you again and will you be at the North Devon Equine Fair at the Big Sheep, up, Bideford way, www.thebigsheep.co.uk/family-attractions/Autumnevents.htmlI hope this link works and would love to see you there. Henry will be demonstrating and I will be following round on the saddlechariot. Simon

Yes, Rosie (in my avatar) had melanomas and then died from grass sicknes, as soon as she started using the saddlechariot - no connection of course!!! I;m glad my problem with her helped you solve a problem for another. Thor is gorgeous. I would like to get my 11.3hh donk into a saddlechariot. Mind you, I was very impressed by Tango, but couldn't persuade them to sell her to me

PS. Sorry for the big pic. That was the first time I drove Fred, which was when he was with Chris being broken to harness.
