Wow first to use this sub forum - aren't I special Apologies in advance as I feel a bit of a hypocrite as I am very much a driving novice. Ok I am 23 and live in the Clyde Valley, Scotland with my husband, little boy Cameron (20 months old) 15 shetland ponies and two bunnies. I was born into ponies and got my first ponies at the age of three one of which only died last year. I have been involved with shetlands for 12 years and started breeding in 2000, we currently have 15 ponies with none in foal for next year. I like my ponies to do a job and most are ridden. As I said before I am very much a driving novice, I have one gelding broken to drive (your typical been there done that type) and have started the ball rolling to have a couple of my young gelding broken next year. I've been involved with a Dales pony this summer who drives and had the opportunity to back step Looking forward to learning loads here

I learnt to ride on a Shetland many, many years ago when I was 10. Fell off and broke my arm, but it didn't put me off and I carried on riding with my arm in a sling. My mum would have gone mad if she'd known I'd love to see some pics of your Shetties

So pleased they have all made a good recovery, it was a nasty little bug that hit.
I read about it in another forum.
