I shall have to get on and fix it, it's raining and a gale is forcast! POO! I wish I could type, then I wouldn't have to keep going back and correcting my really BAD typos!

I wish I could send you some of our blue skies and heat Is there anyway to do a temporary bucket fix beneath, and wait until the wind abates a little?? When we lived on the Oregon coast, those gales were downright deadly. Please be careful with your mending!

I am a dab hand at being on the roof in high winds, and as for your sunshine and 20 degrees!.....it's all a myth you know!

I don't do 82 degrees!
I am the kind of person who burns and goes like a lobster at about 65 degrees.

Oh I grew up in it, and it gets over 100*F in the summer But honestly, you just survive it til the weather shifts. Pretty soon it'll be colder than blue blazes with a wind from the north, and we'll be whining for some heat

It's fixed. Torch on roofing felt and the blower from my shoeing forge!
'Cept OH is wont to wave it about, becasue you cannot see the flame you get an attrctive eybrow singe!
Cries of "my knee's buring, I'm on fire" don't seem to have much effect on him either!

Yikes!! That sounds like my dad....I learned to give him a wide berth when he was working Ah, but now you've got a nice, non leaking roof over your head again The eyebrows will grow back in a month or so

Very brave person you are Wally. Glad you got it fixed and safe and sound. My DH will not go onto the roof no matter when the wind is blowing hard. Think that came about when ...at the other farm.... he wanted to get one of the animals shed roof done no matter what and almost came off when trying to put down some ply wood....caught him like a kite!
