Been messing about with my pair making them do a bit of tendem. Now I have a leading eye buckle to go on a collar.(when I get around to it) but for the time being I am using tandem keys on my brollar. I have them on the tug buckle and eveything seems to be working well. But I have no REAl idea how they are supposed to go on. There is no way they can get pulled off, neither can they rub the wheeler. They allow me to attach the lead traces quickly. has anyone got a picture or can point me to a picture of tandem keys attached to a buckle as it's supposed to be? Is this anything like? ?

Looks like you have them on right to me. Seem to think that there was something about this in a recent carriage driving magazine

I have no idea, my tandem was held together with bale string.

I too used bale string, and could work out how to fit it! I know there was an article in CD and I can't find the picture or the letter saying they were fitted upside down. Anyof you guys keep back copies?
