Ghasly washed out.....or is he doing an impersonation of a silver dun?? No, sadly he resembles an old black football sock that's been washed far too many times.....

Most of my driving is as an able bodied whip with my local riding for the disabled group - we do three days a week. Done dbs trec with rda ponies (scary the little darlings were not on their best behaviour) Also done displays at county shows. Driven my own beastie at national shows and with father christmas. I am not competative so shows and driving trails etc are low on my priority list. Having fun is the most important thing for me.

Goosh...everyone has such bright and beautiful turnout photos....best I have are scruffy ones. Ah well........ Mostly just drive on the Farm. Hubby has made me driving trails. Am hoping to have transport of some sort next year, so I can go to the local VSE CDE's. Excuse the winter wooleys.... I drive my mini mare Maggie..in a wooden Country Road cart. This cart is soooo smooth. She has a Zilco Harness as shown here. But I bought a Freedom collar from Camptown Harness and as soon as I get the money.. I will be getting a Camptown harness as the quality is out standing. And in summer..same cart different wheels.

I do like your little varnished wheeled vehicle.
I see you have the "native forelock" problem, plaited is a good answer. I alwasy split mine as I hate to see M&M with their blinkers full of forelock, they just can't see enough.

Thanks Wally! Oh yes... mine have generous amounts of forelock. ;D There have been times I have been slightly temped to shave it all off.......just haven't been able to bring myself to do it. I just do a french braid and it is long and thick enough to just tuck the whole thing under her nose band. It stays put like that. Though it is pretty hard to see in the photos.
