I *think* that this would be the best section for Indoor Trials?? Just wondered how many members are planning to take their horses/ponies to compete in Indoor Trials over this winter? We have three competitions starting January and ending March, plus the Championships at the end of March. After some brilliant dressage scores in the last two outdoor trials of the season here in Jersey, I am really looking forward to taking Podge in the Indoors!

I don't think I have a trials legal vehicle.
Will a 2 wheeler with sliding axle do? Does it have to be a 4 wheeler?

A 2 wheeler with extending axle would be fine

Really???
Ohh, we could have a shot at that then. But it's mainly winter isn't it, and I'd lose an awful lot of entries due to sailings being cancelled.
Still waiting for nearly £100 in entries to be paid back from the BDS show. It was very kind of them to offer a refund.

They are a lot more forgiving indoor than outdoor...in its previous incarnation my driving bug went to the national indoor championships Wally. Then it got longer shafts (it had the short competition ones that were popular for a while) and was sold to me!
Always wanted to try indoor but never got around to it. Did outdoor club events for a few years and the anklebiters did very well. But again, have now moved too far away to afford to compete any more.

It won't be long till this season IHDT start. My club have two day training sessions next weekend - I can't wait! Last season was our first and we thoroughly enjoyed it, our best effort was driving cones and only being 1 penalty adrift - I couldn't believe it - Molly sped round like Lewis Hamilton!
Anyone else taking part?

We don't do indoors as we need some 'down time' from the outdoor circuit and to be honest I'm not very good at getting up early and getting ready to go to a one day event. Our nearest ones are about two hours away so we're need to be leaving the yard at 7am at the latest to get there for nine *yawn* - I hate the wet, dark, winter mornings.

We might do the ones up in Aberdeen although I have to say I'm not exactly a fan of wet, dark, winter mornings either!

I guess I'm spoilt - the indoor school my area uses is just 15 minutes away.
