Evening all,
Today my daughter and I took Rebel to the London Harness Horse Parade at Ardingly, West Sussex which is not very far from our home, so nice and handy. It was our 5th time at the Parade, which we always enjoy. For the first time in the last five years we were actually WARM there today! We are usually freezing cold and a couple of years ago it was even snowing.
Rebel was an absolute star, behaving really well amid all the excitement. There were all sorts of horses and ponies there, from Shires to Shetlands and Miniature Horses. All the ones I saw were immaculate and in excellent condition - it was a joy to see.
We were delighted to gain a First Class Award, especially as we don't have a traditional vehicle, although our Bellcrown Badger is built along traditional lines. Thanks to the long dry spell we have been enjoying, Rebel was nice and clean and stayed that way after his bath on Saturday.
Our next outing is a social drive, all off-road, next Sunday and we will be using the Hartland four-wheeler for that.
I hope everyone on this forum has also been enjoying their driving this lovely Easter.
