I am in the process of restoring my Harewood sporting gig. I am trying to figure out the striping style, size, where it goes and color options that are appropriate. I know someone with the same gig and no striping. I am hoping someone know the correct options since it is an English Gig. Any help much appreciated. It is hard to tell from the picture but the sides are cane and the seat is Bedford cord whale gray. Attachments:

That's a very smart vehicle. I cannot help with the striping but am sure someone on here will be able to give you some tips.

Lovely vehicle! Not sure about the lining either however I would be inclined to make it match the main body of the carriage and broad enough in the middle of the spoke to be seen but without looking heavy. HHD is maybe the best person to advise you.

Echo everyone's comments smart vechicle ;D the splinter bar should have a thick line in the middle with a thin line at either side, the shafts should have the same style the whole length, the colour of the lines should compliment the vehicle.
My main colour on my vehicles is maroon so I have gold/yellow lining which breaks up the plainess.
Hope this is of help ;D
