I see food is winning out in some cases. . Sorry Rabatsa, but don't get what you mean by this? They all adored playing in the snow... which was just as well as all the snow (barr a few isolated patches) has melted overnight. Talking of horses having a good old roll.... Podge took advantage of a chilly roll! ETA:.... in that last pic, Breton or overgrown Shetland??

We all moan about the snow but I would prefer to have the snow to the slush and ice we have now not nearly as much fun ;D

I need to add ice skates to my car as our farm road is a sheet of ice and with the added water from the melting snow it is a nightmare

We got round that problem with the farm yard and lane by going over it with a spiked roller. Not only did it break into the ice surface. it allowed the water to drain through and get away so it has been able to go quicker.
