Taken from another forum. It would seem that a rouge advert has duped people to install some software that may cause anoying pop ups and slow your computer down (all ads have now been suspended on all proboards) but if you did download or go to the sugested web page then it would be worth running a scan to see if you have picked up any annoying little bugs. The malware screen looks like windows telling you that you are infected and should download their software to remove it, DO NOT download anything that you are not sure of. Dont worry if you did, just download "malwarebytes" from the link below. download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-An....j=dl&tag=buttonIt is free and very effective.

I ran this check on my pooter out of interest last night, as the sons pooter had gone to the wall and he was reinstalling windows. It found 243 infections from the same source and now my pooter is running much faster. I have not clicked on any adverts as I have firefox ad blocker which stops them appearing.
