Just thought I would post this link as I know I am not the only person who has trouble getting wellies for wide calves. I have not had long wellies for a good few years as they are always to tight round for my short dumpy legs ! LOL I just use mucker type boots, but the other day I did a search and found these ! Ideal I thought ! So I ordered a pair and they arrived today. They are FAB !!! ;D They are really great. Quite a soft rubber type wellie, a bit like a Hunters (all rubber and welded seams etc) and really comfy but they have expanding sections on both sides with straps and clips which mean they are more than wide enough and I can at long last have wellies with my jeans or tracksuit bottoms tucked in. Really pleased with them and glad I have at long last found a pair of wellies that fit ! I know they are not cheap but they are not that much more than hunters are and they FIT ! ;D So just thought it might be of interest to some of you. And they are not too bad colour wise, some of there other ones are rather bright ! www.jileon.com/wide_fit_wellies.html

Nothing like as pricey as those french le chameou ones. And if they fit they are well worth it. I have to admit I was not expecting spots but then I used to have a pair with a fish and bubbles on.

I'm a big fan of the Muck Boot Company wellies - brilliant for wider legs ;D
