Today martin had an old friend come to ride Duke, but when she turned up she said she was too tired so ride. So she and martin went and got Solly up to the yard. This was the first time he has been out of his field since he arrived! He was a bit unsettled but soon quietened down. Betty came to have a look but soon wondered off to the far end of the field. After some time handling him, groomng, picking out feet, finding itchy spots etc, I brought Pebbles down for a look. Solly was moved away... I'm tellin ya, this lil girl ain't scared o nuffink! The Martin decided to bridle Solly and then saddle him. We don't think he has ever had a saddle on before, although we know he has been bitted. You can see how big he is by how small he makes this large Torsion saddle look! Now that the wedding with the pair of donkeys is over, martin will be concentrating on Solly. he really is besotted with Solly ;D
