We are now so close to the xray and given that we have just lost Jay, we are very worried as to what the outcome will be. Fingers and toes crossed everyone that we get a good prognosis on Tuesday.

The outcome is not as good as we hoped but it is healing very slowly. They are concerned that there may be ligament damage as well. He has to have another 4 weeks of box rest and another 4 weeks in a very small paddock. Wizard is not coping very well with the enforced rest as he likes to be `doing`.Money is getting tight so I think that may be our last visit to the Dick vet!!

Well I suppose that is both good and bad. Very bad about the lack of brass, a problem I fully understand. Fortunately my vet is also very aware of my lack and my nags have not had anything too serious. Touch wood.
Wizard is improving even if it is going to take longer than everyone had hoped for. Deep up the good work.

Thinking of you and Wizard - even if he doesn't like it rest and time are great healers.

Wiz is now fully operational, he is now in full prat mode! something we thought would never happen. So we are not complaining. The farrier is chuffed as he is floating and his shoes are wearing evenly. Roll on the show season although we will be choosing the surfaces carefully. Our 4 year old Jarrad is now just broken so watch this space ---he has turned out a big boy---16hh at4 and they usually grow till they are 7.Emma is a bit upset as she only does up to 15.2!!

That is good news. I hope that this year you have fun with all the neds and no more breakages. My two year old, unbroken, is over 16 hands now and still lots of growing to do. I do not do big either! Vertigo rules.

We took Wizard to Bonnyton on Sunday to see how he would cope with a lorry journey and showing. It was very wet and slippy during his warm up and we did think we would just go home and not compete but as my grandaughter was stewarding and it cleared up, we went ahead and did his ridden arab class. HE won ;D.Lots of tears . He then went into the championship and he was reserve to a nice partbred pony. The judge did say his scars were the reason he didnt get champion. but hey we were happy with the result we got. ;D ;D ;D
